Dark Horse Blend

Dark Horse Blend is a root-filled, earthy, deep flavor with a light color.  Dandelion, Burdock, and Licorice Roots play a major role in the developing flavor of this blend. Softly tied together with Calendula, Stinging Nettle, and Marshmallow Root, this blend delivers a powerful herbal boost.  Because of the heartiness of this blend, it is recommended that the steep time reach 8-10 minutes before serving.

Ingredients:  Dandelion Root, Burdock Root, Stinging Nettle Leaf, Licorice Root, Calendula Petals, Marshmallow Root

Our tester size will make approximately 3-4 cups of tea, while the Small bag will average 10-12 cups.  More sizes coming soon!

To prepare as a tea, Add 1-2 tsp of blend to a tea strainer or mesh teabag.  Pour 8 oz. boiling water over the blend. Steep 8-10 minutes, strain and serve immediately.  For a stronger flavor, use a larger amount of the tea, do not steep longer than 10 minutes or it may become bitter.
